Alyssa (Aly) Martin
CLINICAL THERAPIST
BEHAVIORAL INTERVENTIONIST
National Certified Counselor
Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
under supervision of Twila Farrar
Aly is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful change. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration, with a strong belief in the healing power of a supportive therapeutic relationship. Aly strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences with openness and curiosity. She is dedicated to helping individuals develop greater self-awareness, build healthier relationships, improve coping skills, and move toward a life that feels aligned with their values and goals.
Aly holds a Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University and has experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and couples. She works with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, stress management, and behavior-related concerns. Aly has experience supporting clients across various levels of care, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization settings. These experiences have strengthened her ability to support clients through both immediate concerns and long-term personal growth.
Aly utilizes a client-centered and integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities to meet each client's unique needs and goals. She believes that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process and works collaboratively with clients to identify strengths, gain insight, and develop practical tools for overcoming obstacles. Aly particularly enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples navigating significant life transitions.
Whether clients are seeking support for anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, self-discovery, or personal growth, Aly is committed to providing compassionate guidance and helping them build the skills and confidence needed to create meaningful change. While life's challenges can feel overwhelming, Aly believes healing and growth are possible when individuals have a supportive space to feel heard, understood, and empowered.
